The study programme ‘Energy Technology’

The study programme ‘Energy Technology’ (Energietechnik) at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg

Why study Energy Technology?

Solving the energy issue is one of the most important challenges facing mankind in the 21st century. The energy technology sector (energy conversion, transportation and application) with its adjacent areas are therefore of vital importance for the energy policy and economy. An ever-increasing demand for qualified energy engineers can be safely predicted. The policy towards renewable energy resources has also increased the need for experts in the scientific field of energy technology. They continue to develop renewable energies and work on technical solutions from  the generation of energy up to to the final consumer.
