New in CBI: Professor Katharina Herkendell
A new assistant professor has joined the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBI) in September. We welcome Prof. Dr. Katharina Herkendell at the Chair of Energy Process Engineering.
The assistant professorship is focussed on distributed energy processes, where Mrs. Herkendell will deal with the thermal, biological, and electrochemical routes of energy conversion. With special focus on enzymatic and microbial fuel and electrolysis cells. her research complements and expands our profile in the direction of bioelectrocatalytic systems.
