The 12th “Statuskonferenz Bioenergie” took place in Leipzig on 20 and 21 November 2025. Sabine Reiß, Constantin Heim, and Hannah Cortnum each gave a presentation. Sabine Reiß presented the BioProcessHeat project, focusing on the experimental results of an Oxyfuel gasification of biogenic residues to provide high-temperature process heat. Constantin Heim introduced the “Kläffizienter” project and presented initial results from short-term forecasts for the energy optimization of wastewater treatment plants. Hannah Cortnum presented the “OxyGreenCO2” project, which aims to provide renewable CO2 through the Oxyfuel combustion of biogenic solid fuels.
