EVT at meeting of the German Ceramic Association (DKV) regarding Decarbonization
On December 3, 2025, the Decarbonization Scene of the German Ceramic Association (DKV) met in Cologne. The event focused on current pathways to reduce the use of fossil energy sources in the ceramics industry, as well as technical options for providing CO₂-neutral process heat. As part of the program, Sabine Reiß presented key results from her research on CO₂-neutral high-temperature process heat. Her contribution highlighted how biogenic synthesis gases can play an important role in decarbonizing energy-intensive industrial processes—particularly in applications requiring high temperatures.
