Hannah Cortnum and Maximilian Weitzer received the Best Paper Award for their contribution “CO2-based zeotropic mixtures for reversible HP-ORC systems – Exploiting temperature glide for enhanced performance” at the 8th International Seminar on ORC Power Systems (ORC2025).
The paper presents experimental and simulative results from the reversible heat pump-ORC pilot plant at the Energy Campus, focusing on zeotropic fluid mixtures as working fluids. The EVT warmly congratulates them on this award!
