At the High-Temperature Heat Pump (HTHP) Symposium held in Copenhagen on January 21–22, 2026, more than 500 experts from science and industry discussed the latest developments in the field of high-temperature heat pumps.
Maximilian Weitzer represented the Chair of Energy Process Engineering and presented research results on the combination of high-temperature heat pumps and Organic Rankine Cycles in reversible Heat Pump – ORC systems. The title of the contribution was “Composition-adjustable fluid mixtures for enhanced performance of reversible Heat Pump – ORC systems” The results focused on the use of adaptive fluid mixtures to optimally adapt fluid properties to process conditions.
