From June 17 to 19, 2026, the Chair of Energy Process Engineering is inviting students to join an excursion as part of the Energy Technology course. Together, we will visit sites such as the Markersbach pumped-storage power plant, the Chemnitz combined heat and power plant, the Reick innovation power plant, and the Lippendorf coal-fired power plant, as well as the grid control center and switchgear facilities of SÜC Energie and H2O GmbH.
The participation fee is €35 (including bus travel, accommodations, and breakfast).
IMPORTANT: The language of the field trip is German. It is therefore recommended that you have a basic knowledge of the language.
