Energy Economics

For students in the Bachelor’s program in Clean Energy Processes and guest students.

The course covers fundamental and current issues in the energy sector. In particular, it introduces energy resources and their use, economic aspects of energy conversion and storage, and the financing of energy systems and technologies. In addition, the course covers innovation management, energy trading, and electricity market designs, as well as the European legal framework governing the energy sector. Furthermore, issues related to grid operation, security of supply, and regulatory requirements are discussed.
