EVT at European Biomass Conference and Exhibition

From May 19 to May 22, 2026, the 34th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE 2026) took place in The Hague, the Netherlands. The event is one of the leading international platforms connecting science, industry, and policy in the fields of biomass, bioenergy, and the circular bioeconomy. The scientific program covered the entire biomass value chain, including biomass resources, bioenergy, bio-CCS, bio-based chemicals and materials, as well as policy and sustainability aspects. With more than 1,400 participants from 63 countries and 75 exhibitors and sponsors, the conference provided an international forum for research, innovation, and networking.

EVT was represented at this year’s conference by Arkya Sanyal, who delivered an oral presentation entitled “Early Prediction of Bed Agglomeration in Stationary Fluidized Beds Using High-Frequency Pressure Analysis and Image Processing”. The presentation was given within the framework of the BMWE-funded ProKläR-mission project and its ongoing follow-up project KläR-vision. It presented recent research on the early detection of bed agglomeration in stationary fluidized beds and provided an excellent opportunity for scientific exchange with researchers and industry experts from the international biomass and bioenergy community.
