  • since 2011: owner of the Chair of Energy Process Engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Germany
  • 2007 – 2011: head of the Institute for Heat Engineering and professor at the University of Technology of Graz, Austria
  • 2007: foundation of the Agnion Energy Inc. (www.agnion.net) – Start-Up for the development and commercialization of the Heatpipe Reformer technology
  • 2003 – 2004: professor representative of the Chair for Power Plants at the University of Rostock, Germany
  • 1992 – 2007: doctorate degree and habilitation at the Chair for Thermal Power Plants (now: Chair of Energy Systems) at the Technical University of Munich
